Brief itinerary

This is one of many possible itineraries of the Trans-Siberian tour.

Day 1. Moscow. Start of the Trans-Siberian journey

~13:00 – Board the train in Moscow, departure for Irkutsk.
Overnight at train.

Day 2. At train

Meals No

Full day at train. Optional stopover in Ekaterinburg.

Day 3. At train

Meals No

Full day at train. Optional stopover in Novosibirsk.

Day 4. At train

Full day at train. Optional stopover in Krasnoyarsk.

Day 5. Irkutsk

~08:30 - Arrival in Irkutsk.
Transfer to the hotel. Optional early check-in.
City tour of Irkutsk by car with local English-speaking guide.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6. Lake Baikal

Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day tour to Lake Baikal by car with local English-speaking guide. The tour includes visits to the village of Listvyanka, the Museum of Lake Baikal and the Museum of Ethnography and Architecture “Taltsy” located by the Angara River.
Optional tours in Listvyanka – dog-sledding, riding a hovercraft in winter, boat trip in summer.
Return to Irkutsk and transfer to the train station.
~22:00 – Departure by overnight train for Ulan-Ude.

Day 7. Buryatia

~06:40 – Arrival in Ulan-Ude.
Transfer to the hotel. Optional early check-in.
City tour of Ulan-Ude by car with local English-speaking guide.
Tour to Ivolginsky Datsan, complex of Buddhist monasteries.
Tour to the village of Old Believers Tarbagatay. Meet with the Old Believers and learn about their culture and traditions. Concert of traditional songs and lunch with local meals and drinks.
Return to Ulan-Ude.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8. At train

Meals B

Transfer to the train station.
~04:18 – Departure for Vladivostok.
Full day at train.

Day 9. At train

Day 10. Vladivostok

Meals No

Optional stopover in Khabarovsk.
~19:40 – Arrival in Vladivostok.
Transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11. Vladivostok

Breakfast at the hotel.
~10:00 – 16:00 - Tour by car with local English-speaking guide along the coast of Muravyov-Amurskiy Peninsula – the Gulf of Amur, the Gulf of Golden Horn, including visits of the embankments. Drive along the bridge over the Golden Horn Gulf and along the bridge to Russkiy Island.  Visit the coast of Russkiy Island.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12. Vladivostok. Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport.
