Adventure trip to the Arctic
- Meet Nenets reindeer breeders living in tundra in traditional way
- Ride on reindeer sled and try ice fishing

All times are approximate and depend on weather conditions and location of Nenets camp.
~14:20 – Arrival in Naryan-Mar. Meet at the airport.
Transfer to the tourist center.
15:30 - Lunch. Safety briefing.
17:00 – Transfer to the Chum (teepee) Camp established by the lake shore in tundra and forest tundra at a distance of about 40 km from the city. Transfer is arranged in snowmobile pulled sledges along the trails of Nenets reindeer herders. Jacket, pants, boots and gloves are provided.
18:30 – Arrival and accommodation in a chum lodge, which is the traditional lodge of the arctic nomad people. Simple conditions according to the lifestyle of Nenets (no running water and WC, electricity is provided by generator and not all the time).
19:00 – Dinner in the chum, including typical local dishes such as Stroganina (frozen fish), reindeer meat and berries. Learn about traditions and way of life of Nenets and Komi tribes.
21:00 – Evening tea. Overnight in sleeping bags (provided).
Weather depending – observation of the Northern lights. There are reasonable chances to see the Northern Lights because Naryan-Mar is located northward of the Arctic Circle.
08:00 – Breakfast.
09:30 – Nenets are one of the few arctic tribes which preserve the traditional nomadic way of life. Today we will visit a camp of reindeer breeders. Transfer to the camp (10 km or more, depending on the camp location). Meet Nenets people, talk to them, take photos in traditional Malitsa winter coat made of reindeer fir and ride on reindeer sledges.
14:00 – Lunch in chum.
15:00 – Departure for Naryan Mar. Make a stop along the way, check ice-fishing tackles and try ice-fishing.
18:00 – Arrival in Naryan-Mar, accommodation at a guest house, apartment or hotel.
Overnight in Naryan-Mar.
Visit Nenets Museum of local history and culture.
Transfer to the airport.
Nenets Autonomous Okrug (region) is located in the north of Russia, by the Arctic Ocean. The name of the region is originated with the local population - Nenets people.
