Brief itinerary

Day 1. Moscow - Sergiev Posad - Rostov Veliky

Meals L

Pick-up at the hotel in Moscow by the driver.
Transfer to Sergiev Posad.
Tour with local English-speaking guide, including the grounds of the Trinity Monastery of Saint Sergius.
Transfer to Pererslavl-Zalessky.
Lesson on Russian doll painting.
Transfer to Rostov Velikiy.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Rostov Veliky - Yaroslavl - Suzdal

Meals B

Breakfast at the hotel.
Rostov Veliky tour with local English-speaking guide, including Rostov Kremlin with one museum.
Transfer to Yaroslavl.
Yaroslavl tour with local English-speaking guide, including Yaroslavl Kremlin with one museum and one of the historical churches.
Transfer to Suzdal.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3. Suzdal

Tour of Suzdal with local English-speaking guide, including Suzdal Kremlin, the Museum of Wooden Architecture "Vitoslavitsy" and one of the historical monasteries.
Home hosted dinner at local wooden house, meet Russian family.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4. Suzdal - Vladimir - Bogolyubovo - Moscow

Meals B

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Vladimir.
Tour of Vladimir with local English-speaking guide, including the Cathedral of St. Demetrius and the Dormition Cathedral.
Tour of Bogolyubovo with local English-speaking guide, including a walk to the Church of the Intersession on the Nerl River.
~17:30 - Transfer back to Moscow.
~21:00 - Drop off at the hotel in Moscow.

3. Entrance fees in Rostov Veliky (Kremlin and one museum), Yaroslavl (Kremlin, one museum and one church), Suzdal (Kremlin, Wooden Architecture Museum, Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius or Intercession Convent), Vladimir (two cathedrals).

Entrance to the Monastery of St. Sergius is free. Entrance fee to the Treasury Museum of the Monastery of St. Sergius is not included.

The guides spoke good English and we could understand what they were saying. They also showed us what we could do during our free time around the town.
