Brief itinerary

Day 1.

Meals D

Pick up at the hotel or airport in Murmansk.
Transfer (~3 hours) to the husky center located in the forest in Lovozero region.
Arrival, accommodation at the guesthouse.
Dinner. Meals during your stay will include local products such as wild salmon, reindeer, elk, grouse etc.
Overnight at the guesthouse.
Weather dependent, observe the Northern Lights from the house.

Day 2.

Meals B, L, D

Breakfast.
Dog sledding, 5 km long trip (longer 7 and 12 km trips are also available). Reindeer sledding, 1 km long trip *
Lunch.
Optional cross-country skiing in the vicinity of the guesthouse.
Dinner.
Overnight at the guesthouse.
Weather dependent, observe the Northern Lights from the house.
* in case there is no snow we will arrange a hiking trip in the forest.

Day 3.

Meals B, L

Breakfast.
Snowmobile safari*
Transfer to Murmansk.
* in case there is no snow we will arrange an ATV safari.

This beautiful area is situated in the central and north-eastern part of the Kola Peninsula.

The city of Murmansk was founded in 1916. Nowadays, it is the biggest city in the world situated beyond the Arctic Circle.

This trip is operated from late August till early April.

The guesthouse is located in the forest and lake area not far from the village of Lovozero, in about 170 km from Murmansk. The guesthouse is built of mature pine wood logs. It has wooden flooring and wooden furniture. The ground floor is 40 sq. meters and the upper floor is 21 sq. meters. There is a double bed 160 cm in the bedroom and four single beds on the upper floor. In addition, there is a sofa bed 120 cm in the living room. The guesthouse has a bio toilet and a bathroom with hot and cold water in water-tanks. Electricity supply is from the generator. Heating is provided by means of a big fire place. The guesthouse has big panoramic windows.


The owners have a husky farm, reindeers, snowmobiles and ATV quad bikes. One of the owners speaks fluent English.
