Day 1 St.Petersburg. Arrival
 
Pick-up at the airport or train station of St.Petersburg by the driver. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 St.Petersburg - Pskov
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet the guide. St.Petersburg city tour by car or bus, including St.Isaac's Cathedral or Peter and Paul's Fortress. Transfer to the train station. ~18:35 - Departure for the historical town of Pskov by evening train (2nd class cabin for 4 people, travel time ~5 hours). Arrival in Pskov. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 Pskov
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Countryside tour by car or bus to Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery of the Holy Dormition, founded in 1473 (55 km from Pskov). The Monastery stands in a ravine and a beautiful view opens on it from the observation ground located nearby. On the way back to Pskov - visit to the ancient fortress situated in the settlement of Izborsk, first mentioned in 682 AD. Free evening for independent walks around Pskov to observe its numerous churches and historical monuments. Dinner (for the extra payment) can be arranged at the restaurant located in one of the towers of Pskov Kremlin. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Pskov - Velikiy Novgorod
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour to the Kremlin of Pskov and the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Transfer to the bus station. Departure for Velikiy Novgorod - one of the most important towns in the Russian history (188 km by regular bus). Arrival in Velikiy Novgorod, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Velikiy Novgorod
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour by car or bus to the St. Yury Monastery of the 11th Century and the Museum of traditional Russian wooden architecture "Vitoslavitsy". Lunch. Walking tour to Novgorod Kremlin, St. Sophia Cathedral of the 11th century and Monument "Millennium of Russia". Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Velikiy Novgorod - St.Petersburg
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station. ~08:05 Departure for St.Petersburg by morning train (sitting carriage, travel time ~3 hours). Arrival in St.Petersburg. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 St.Petersburg. Departure.
 
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport or train station.
