May at the White Sea is a fast spring, when the sea becomes free of ice.
There are a lot of mammals in the White Sea including beluga whales, gray seals, harp seals,
ringed seals, bearded seals (sea hare), occasional and rare mink whales and walruses.
At the beginning of March the seals are born and by the middle
of May they become older and changed their colour. One can observe the cubs and adult seals on the ice and on the shores.
Together with the local diving centre we are inviting you to join the ecological tour in the White Sea.
During this White Sea tour the group travels by high-speed boats.
Some seals are brave enough and allow getting very close to them.
Every day we plan landings on the islands for walking, fishing and open-air lunches.

| Day 1 |
Arrival at the train station Chupa by train from St. Petersburg or Moscow.
Transfer to the diving center "Polar Circle".
Breakfast. Accommodation, acquaitance with the diving center, program briefing.
Lunch.
Departure for the White Sea tour to the area of Kasyan island, searching of the seals.
In the evening we can visit the traditional village of Nilmogubalocated nearby or look for the birds
feeding on the coast.
Dinner and sauna.

| Day 2 |
Breakfast.
Excursion to observe beluga whales in the open-air dolphinarium.
At about 10:00 we are leaving for the White Sea tour in search of the sea mammals.
Landing at the islands Berezovy or Kokoikha. While walking along the shore
the travellers will enjoy beautiful landscapes and views of the White Sea.
Open-air lunch.
Continuation of the program. Under good weather conditions
the group travels further to the White Sea to Kuzokotsky Peninsula.
Return to the diving center. Dinner, sauna.

| Day 3 |
Breakfast.
Sea trip to the White Sea Biological station of Moscow State University.
Excursion at the station, which is used all year round for
research of the White Sea. Visit to the Botanical garden of the station.
Lunch at the latitude of the geographical Arctic Circle - island of Epanchikhin.
All travellers have a possibility to step beyond the Arctic Circle and back.
Return to the diving center. Farewell dinner. Departure.
Transfer to the train station of Chupa.
