Overview: The hotel is situated in the center of Petrozavodsk on the shores of Lake Onego in the mouth of the Lososinka River, exactly on the place where Peter the Great founded his cannon factory in 1702. This is a ten-storeyed building, which was completely reconstructed in 2005. The windows of the hotel overlook the lake and the center of the city. It takes several minutes to get to the passenger port, main square of the city, the museum of fine arts, theatres, cafes, city-centre offices.

137 rooms (215 places), room-service, restaurant, bar, VIP lounge and banquet room, business centre, SPA Medical Centre with a pool and saunas, transformed conference hall for up to 300 persons, conference hall for up to 170 people, ATM, laundry, dry-cleaning, a guarded parking lot.

Accommodation rates include buffet breakfast and entrance to pool and sauna from 07:00 till 09:00.

Our comments.
It is the biggest and currently the best hotel of the city. But it is also one of the most expensive. The infrastructure of the hotel is well-developed. There are two (small) elevators. The buffet breakfast is quite nice with a great variety of dishes. The rooms are not air-conditioned but usually it is not a problem taking the Karelian climate into consideration.
