Location:
The countryside hotel "Alekka" is situated in one of the beautiful places of the Republic of Karelia, on the shore of Lake Syamozero (68 km from Petrozavodsk), surrounded by forest. The lake is rich in fish (perch, roach, pike, pike perch, grayling, smelt, bream).

Rooms have:
One or two beds, shower, WC, TV, separate entrance, heated floor in the bathroom. Old building has economy rooms without WC and shower.

Hotel has:
Two recently constructed buildings, the 1st one has 7 Standard TWIN rooms, 1 Standard DBL room and 1 Standard TRPL room, the 2nd one has 6 Standard DBL rooms and 3 Standard TWIN rooms. Extra places on sofas are available in the 2nd building.
Old building has 4 economy TWIN rooms and 4 rooms for 4 persons. Economy rooms have beds and water basins. Showers and simple toilets are available on the territory of the hotel (outside the building).
The hotel also has a cafe, Russian sauna, an equipped fireplace, a volleyball and football field, a hill for sledge riding, boat pier. Rowing boats, canoes, bicycles, skis are available for rent.

Meals:
Breakfast and dinner are included into the price.

Our comments.
The hotel is located in a quiet area on the shore of the lake at the distance of 70 km from Petrozavodsk. Some of the rooms are small. The hotel is good for outdoor sports and activities, such as cross-country skiing, walking, boating.
