Tour of Apatity - the largest scientific centre in the North of Russia. Visit the Geological Museum of Kola Scientific Center and Historical Museum. Visit a Folk Arts Shop “Salma” which gathered rare minerals in private collections of geologists and articles made by jewelers, stone carvers and folk craftsmen.
Drive to the Severnaya Hotel located in Kirovsk city. Check-in. Lunch in a restaurant in the neighbourhood. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in the hotel.

At 9.00 pick up by a guide and drive for excursion to the Polar Botanical Garden.
Then a day tour to the Khibiny Mountains, the highest massif in the Kola Peninsula. Drive 25 km along mountain road to a picturesque waterfall located on the Riss River. After observing the Waterfall, hike (5-15 km, to be decided with the guide) to the valley of Riss-Chor. It is known because of the astrophylite semi-precious minerals. Attentive hikers can find them even on the path. The Valley also has spots of permafrost and the snow never melts there. Hike back to the Waterfall, picnic lunch. Return to Kirovsk by off-road vehicle.
Dinner on your own in the hotel or in the bowling center in front of the hotel.
Overnight in hotel.
(It is possible to get the breakfast as a packed meal for the next morning at the reception place if early departure).

Transfer to the train station of Apatity at ~07.00. Departure by morning train at ~08.13 for Murmansk. Arrival in Murmansk, transfer to the hotel "Polyarnie Zori" or "Meridian". Overnight at the hotel.
