Vladimir is a town with more than 1000 years history. Situated 180 km to the north of Moscow, it was the capital of ancient north-east Russia. The town was called after prince Vladimir from Kiev. Unique memorials of the 12th century still remain in the town - cathedrals of the Assumption and Dmitrovsky and the Golden Gates.
In 30 km of Vladimir, a small and very quiet town of Suzdal is situated, first mentioned in 1024. In old days Suzdal was a capital of principality, and now it looks like an ideal Russian provincial town. The town has 5 monasteries, 33 churches, a white-stone Kremlin, old wooden buildings. Suzdal is a really worth seeing place when traveling to Russia.

Day 1	~08:00 - Pick-up at the hotel in Moscow by the driver. Transfer to Suzdal. Suzdal is a small peaceful town of the Golden Ring of Russia. It is full of historical monuments, old fashioned houses, museums and restaurants serving meals of Russian cuisine. Afternoon and evening today do not include a guided Suzdal tour and you can just walk around, take photos, relax and visit traditional Russian banya. Overnight at Suzdal hotel "Goryachie Kluchi" (or similar).

Day 2	Breakfast at the hotel. Local English-speaking guide meets us in the morning for the Suzdal tour. We visit Suzdal Kremlin, cathedrals and monasteries of the 13th - 16th Centuries, learn about the history and traditions of the local people. In the afternoon we continue with the transfer and Vladimir tour, including the historical Golden Gates, the Cathedral of St. Demetrius and the Dormition Cathedral, both dating back to the 12th century. After Vladimir tour we depart for Moscow. Arrival in Moscow at about 20:00. (B)
