Discover the Golden Ring

Pick-up at the hotel in Moscow by the driver and start of the Golden Ring Tour.
Transfer to Sergiev Posad, which is known for its monastery, founded in the 14th Century.
Sergiev Posad tour with the local English-speaking guide includes the grounds of the Trinity Monastery of Saint Sergius, churches, cathedrals, towers of the fortress which was protecting the Monastery from the enemies.
After Sergiev Posad we will have some free time and continue the Golden Ring trip to another famous town of the Golden Ring of Russia - Rostov Veliki (Rostov the Great).
Overnight at "Usadba Pleshanova" hotel in Rostov Veliki or similar.

Breakfast at the hotel.
We start our Rostov tour with a visit of Rostov Kremlin. Rostov is a Russian provincial town which preserved many old fashioned buildings. The present view of central part of the town is pretty much the same as it was centuries ago and that is why a lot of historical movies were shot there.
We will also visit the Spaso-Yakovlevsky Monastery.
After Rostov tour we continue to Yaroslavl.
Yaroslavl is 1000-year old city. During our Yaroslavl tour we explore Yaroslavl Kremlin and visit the Church of Elijah the Prophet decorated with the ancient frescoes.
Transfer to Kostroma.
Arrival in Kostroma. Overnight at the "Azimut Kostroma" hotel in Kostroma or similar.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Kostroma is famous for its history and architecture. During our Kostroma tour we will visit the Hypatian Monastery, where the first tzar of the Romanov Dynasty was crowned at the beginning of the 17th century. A nice view on the Monastery opens over the small Kostroma River (tribute of Volga) making it a great photo scene.
The historical center has a magnificent merchant's yard, where you can shop like locals did two hundred years ago.
Continue with a transfer to Suzdal.
Arrival in Suzdal. Free evening and overnight at "Goryachie Kluchi" hotel in Suzdal or similar.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Suzdal is one of the most beautiful towns along the Golden Ring of Russia. It is small, authentic, full of history and glory. We will see traditional wooden houses where locals live, churches big and small, merchant's yard, visit the grounds of Suzdal Kremlin and the monastery of our Saviour and St. Euthimius (or Intercession Convent).
After the tour of Suzdal we continue to Vladimir. During Vladimir tour we will visit the Cathedral of St. Demetrius and the Dormition Cathedral, both dating back to the 12th century and observe the historical Golden Gates.
Transfer to Moscow and finish our tour at the hotel or train station.
